With new sea freight bookings temporarily paused, land shipping is now the main option for sending your belongings from the UAE to Egypt and the Gulf. Here's what you need to know, and how to prepare your shipment so it arrives safely.

How long does a land shipment take?

  • Egypt: 10 to 25 working days, via Saudi Arabia.
  • Saudi Arabia: 3 to 5 working days via the Ghuwaifat border crossing.
  • Oman: 1 to 3 working days.
  • Qatar and Bahrain: 3 to 5 working days.
  • Kuwait: 4 to 6 working days.

Actual times depend on border procedures and shipment size; we confirm them when you book.

How to prepare your shipment before pickup

  • Make a contents list: a clear list of what you're shipping makes customs easier and protects you.
  • Keep valuables and documents with you: don't pack passports, important papers or jewellery in the shipment.
  • Tell us about fragile items in advance: so we can prepare suitable wrapping or a custom wooden crate.
  • Write your name and destination on every box: it makes sorting and delivery easier.
  • Ask about restricted items: some goods can't be shipped — message us before packing if you're unsure.
